The Life Consciousness In Wang Zengqi's Novels

As a characteristic writer, Wang Zengqi created a unique literature world. His novels entail rich spiritual resources, from which we can realize his life consciousness. Based on the special life experiences and aesthetic life attitude in his novels, from the angle of life view (life patterns), the orientation of life consciousness and the resources of life consciousness, this thesis explores Mr. Wang's literature world, highlights his particular cultural features and emphatically analyzes the life consciousness in his novels.In Chapter one, this thesis mainly analyzes life view, in other words, life patterns. According to the relation between human being and the surrounding circumstances, Mr. Wang described three kinds of essential life patterns. The first one is the natural pattern of life, which represents the preliminary realistic state of life, that is to say, the essence of life. What Mr. Wang displayed in his novels are the natural features of human beings, they are human's nature and vitality, the simple of human emotions, the pure ness of human's ideas, and human life' firmness. The second one is the social pattern of life, which means a kind of state that individuals get rid of self-control and step into social communication between individuals, and individuals between groups. Mr. Wang focused on the sociality of human life and explored human being's natural beauty in everyday life, which is the basis for the construction of the harmonious relations between man and nature, human and society and man ourselves. The third one is the spiritual pattern of life. Mr. Wang vividly displayed the hardships and humbleness among the people in everyday life, and pursued the value and dignity of life in view of desolateness of our everyday life. In his view, keeping one's spiritual life undamaged is much more important than one's material life.In chapter two we analyze spiritual orientation of life consciousness. Firstly, based on Mr. Wang's pursue of benevolence, which is one kind of Confucian thoughts, and his essence " be good to the world", this thesis studied his Confucian ethic life value, which is promoted from moral emotions. This kind of moral life, set up on the basis of human nature, is the basis of life. Secondly, Mr. Wang attempted to seek for a way of life which is suitable for the nature of life, an aesthetic way of life, an ideological way of life, and a super state of ethic moral life.In chapter three, this thesis mainly discusses the origin of Mr. Wang's life consciousness. In view of four dimensions, they are the guidance of ancestors and teachers; imperceptible infiltrating of Confucian culture, the experiences and training of hardships in life, and the influence of western life philosophy, his life consciousness and literature creation are explored in detail.
