With the changing of history, the thoughts of Chinese literature are converting radically. Meanwhile, the overseas student literature of overseas Chinese literature forms a powerful force because of the improvements of quality and influence. This dissertation tries to analyze the characteristics of literature of Chinese students in Japan of Japan-China literature, discuss basing on the literature of Chinese students in Japan in two history periods of before and after The May 4th Movement in modern times and after 80s in new era and conclude and comparatively analyze the creative characteristics.During the period of before and after The May 4th Movement and the later new literature movement, as Guo Mo-ruo said, domestic literary world is mainly established by Chinese literates who studied in Japan before. But these literatures which face to domestic readers take revolution and enlightening as missions and possess intense politics criticism are beyond our discussion. This dissertation mainly research on the literatures written by Chinese students in Japan take overseas countrymen as dramatis personae, and most of them possess the following characteristics. The first one is that the image-building takes the form of margin person. This characteristic roots in the differences between China and Japan, especially the self-humiliation of Chinese students in Japan because of Chinese vast territory and abundant resources, its large population, and its feeble national strength comparing to Japanese small territory and advanced science and technology. They have to face the reality except for the different cultural bound, and they expect respect but they can't receive. The second one is the value judgment and morals judgment from the point of Chinese standard, the writers make judgments of Japanese society by using Chinese value judgment must bring about that they can't get along with others in the society, and they really expect the Chinese traditional sense of honor and etiquette concept, but what they saw are entirely contrary, so they crusade against the different value concept from theirs. The third one is that writers use private novel to express the deep thinking in the cockles of their hearts.Based on the succession of previous patterns, this type of literature is mainly autobiography; the I of novels are not fabricated, but created according to the person in real life, or directly according to themselves. Compared to the last generation, the literature creation sine new era in 20th Centuries, is more sensitive and more passionate, doesn't lose selves and more abound in the idea of distinguish. Based on the succession of previous patterns, the literature of Chinese students in Japan gain more development in the spirit essay without politics view and the variety of style of writing. Concretely speaking, first, the writing of overseas students in Japan in 80s mainly have the characteristics of travel notes, impression, scribble essay and the experience in Japan, which is the result of painful experiences are forgot gradually with the time passing. These writers who get rid of politics burden, walk along in foreign country, contrast the differences between the two countries and summarize the experience and lesson of their own in order to help the following ones, which together form the majority characteristic of literature creation of overseas students in Japan at that time. Second, literature creation of Chinese students in Japan in 90s has the tendency of theme, variety of style and multiple network medium. Memoirist, resume, personal history, on-the-spot record, reportage and novel appears。The inspiration of creators is not restricted, theme and style both have the tendency of diversification, become more close to real life, more venture to describe the sadness and happiness in real life and exposure the domestic banality. Network literature appears quietly and become tidal current with the rising of IT industry and more literatures which mainly criticize the current events appear because of the free and concealment of network, but good and evil works mixed up, so there isn't many works with high literary worth.Moreover, the dissertation believes that the literature pattern of before establishing the state yet had far-reaching influence on the creation in 80s late. Margin and non-mainstream are still the main style of works. The writer in 80s late still look on Japan which amalgamates eastern and western culture from the point of Chinese standard and value concept that should bring about certain bewilderment and oscillation. However, the styles of literature creation by new Chinese students in Japan are more diversiform and close to real life than before with the easing the mental burden. Concretely speaking, the similarities of literature creation in these two periods mainly are the following ones.1, margin and non-mainstream are the common patterns. The pocketbook of writers come to Japan mainly depends on casual working except for the bursary students. Overseas students always just dress warmly and ear one's fill, but most of them are the outstanding ones in every domestic fields including intelligentsia or the family cossets, and they savor joys and sorrows of life as an ordinary overseas students after arriving in Japan. Concerning culture, they deeply feel saline and loneliness because of direct contact with foreign culture as soon as arrive in Japan. Under the economic and cultural impact, all Chinese students in Japan in any time deeply feel vanity of adscription sense and misty of identification sense, and these special experience that the domestic students don't have are wrote which from the common characteristic.2, the value judgment and moral judgment from the point of Chinese standard are still the creation themes of these two times. Many works set up the iron and proud images of countrymen, but meanwhile this shows that writers judge even smear Japan through the value conception of Chinese standard, and the latter is more common in the works before establishing the state.The dissimilarities of literary creation in these two periods mainly are the following ones. First, these works all take margin person as theme, but works before establishing the state emphasize on description of ugly Japanese comparing and works in modern age like to set up the good image of Chinese overseas students. Some of the literary works in 80s late are good value ones whose Chinese dramatic personate put up the traditional Chinese noble passion and thought although they describe the image of margin person. All these dramatic personates have the same struggling pattern, that is go abroad-face the double impacts of economy and culture-puzzle-regulate-adapt-struggle-gain the respect from Japanese-promote the good relationship between china and Japan-render service to repay motherland's kindness. All show the positive values are these lineal overseas students who suffer from solitude not only win honors for Chinese, but also render service to repay motherland's kindness. But we can't deny that this description of lineal images which encourage others disappears gradually in the following ten years.3, the literary works in 80s late become more diversification in the forms than before new country established. The new generations of overseas students don't take massive mission any more and their thought renovate with the changing of age pattern and member pattern. They are in the connection point of Chinese and western culture and experience several social regimes and they are the production of the argument, collision, exclusion, attraction, amalgamation and development and discard between multi-element culture and value conception. The more close to life characteristic, nature of writing realistically, non-instructive tendency and selves-register and express strike the traditional literary concepts, which make the literary concept multi-element and literary form diversification. On the other hand, the appearances of pure coprology and creations depicting new overseas student who behave in a recklessly irresponsible manner declare the image of traditional overseas student regarding the country as self's own responsibility since one century is dashed to the ground and forebode a new era arriving, that is the overseas student who get rid of heavy history burden and they have the right to pursue the diversity life and value and also the right to exploit more mental room for themselves, and also declare that the literary creation have changed from old burden style literature of Chinese students in Japan to new style of pure individual life and individual value tropism.In a word, the successive new works and the old ones both outline the panorama of literature of overseas students in Japan, no matter its particular emphasis on description of Chinese society in Japan or on projection of Japanese culture. But it needs some time to occupy a place openly for this literature branch. The literature of overseas students in Japan in modern age especially should overcome some disadvantageous,for instance the simple mood catharsis, short of thought, transition of writers and writing at any time, reading at any time and losing at any time. Literary works of overseas students in Japan should increase with the increasing of overseas students in Japan. We expect not only the domestic attention to literature of overseas students in Japan, but also the emergence of more deep, thoughtful and more influential classic works.
