The introduction of modern European music educational system in a recent one hundred years has boosted the development of Chinese music. But Europo-centric tendencies have resulted in the situation that people are willing to accept the Western music instead of the Chinese one, which has inhibited the development of some excellent Chinese national musical culture. In order to change such a situation, we should strengthen our national music education. While Solfeggio Course, just similar to any kind of language learning courses, is a theoretical course. If one wants to at home with Chinese Music, he must begin with the basic courses, such as Solfeggio Course.In this thesis, the author tries to introduce the Grand Song into the classroom teaching of Solfeggio, as a way to strengthen the National music education. Part one analyzes several pieces of The Grand Song of different types from the aspects of the melody, tonality, structure , multi-phonology and ways of singing, and then the author will make the instructional designs for its teaching practice. Secondly, this paper deals with its history and development and the enlightenment that the author gets via compare and comparison. Finally, analysis of the music of the Chinese nation Solfeggio feasibility.Introducing the Grand Songs of Dong Minority into the Classroom Teaching of Solfeggio only skims the surface of the music educational system based on Chinese culture. And the author tries to put forward a kind of Chinese-based methods and ways of Solfeggio-teaching and to explore some theories for constituting the Chinese-based Music Educational System.
