Ghazi Ahmed is a famous artist in Xinjiang. His paintings absorb diverse elements to form his own special art language with strong character of race and region. This text discusses his art in three parts. The first part summarizes the main artistic character of his paintings: having strong trend of race, observing in different angles, useing lines, no central light and depicting spirits of people vividly.The second part analyses the reasons of his painting language forming. First, did not be limited in Islamic doctrine of forbiding portraits. Second, absorbed nutrient from the Miniatures. Third, studied the Realism oil-paintings of the Soviet Union. Fourth, learned from the Mural paintings in Kezier and Kumutula Stone-cave.The third part discusses the Period of his paintings. In the early period, his oil-paintings were influenced by politics and the Soviet oil-paintings style, but having his own artistic character. In the middle period, he began to care about the vast scope of Uygur's culture and life, forming explicit artistic character. In the later period, he turned to using Chinese painting to express his emotion.
