The Application Of Modern Figure Painting Mainly On Realistic Modeling In Fine Brushwork On Color

Color, as one of inherent language of painting, is the most essential factor of art sentiment and style, and one of the most important means that stimulate visual nerve most effectively and cause peculiar emotional sense of beauty. In the world of visual art, color embodies fairly strong visual impact, because the influence of color on personal emotion can evoke great sensation. Therefore, Chinese painting cannot ignore the effect of color on vision.Whatever traditional or modern, east or west drawing develops, color is important constitutive element in view of the effect of picture all the time. In the China modern fine brushwork, color becomes more important as a key expressive tool. The color view of traditional Chinese painting stated that"adopt different colors in terms of different objectives"and"divide Chinese ink colors into five kinds". This idea emphasizes that we should use different colors according to the variety of objectives in the painting colors. Consequently, the whole country started a hot tide to learn abroad in a big scale. The people who came back China from abroad devoted to broadcasting west study. Most of artist studying abroad asserted that we should use west study reconstruct traditional Chinese art.With the change of educational style in traditional Chinese art, the broadcast of west sketch and color theory at home, and the influence of west realism, Chinese fine brushwork, especially figure painting brought essential change in the theory of modeling and color. It transformed from flat decoration into the pursuit of three-dimensional realistic picture effect, which brought a series of innovation, and meanwhile dozens of artists who mainly adopted realistic modeling. Affected by modern thought trend, they broke tradition bravely to create a great deal of works full of era atmosphere.This paper focus on the research on the innovation of color application of some famous arts by individual analysis and summarizes three features of it containing the breakout of the limit of materials, the emphasis on the combination of personal emotion with color, and break of color skills. Extension and creation are the important conditions keeping bloom vitality. What's more, the innovation of color application in realistic figure painting of fine brushwork is a key link in the development of traditional Chinese painting.
