Qian Long , the 4th emperor of Qing Dynasty , decreed the compilation of Siku quanshu , hence there was a nation-wide campaign of book collecting and banning from 1772 to 1793 . Shandong Provice had been an active part in this campaign form beginning to end . During those years , 367 kinds of books were collected in Shandong Province , 546 kinds of works of 300 Shandong writers were recorded in Siku quanshu zongmu , 70 kinds of works of 34 Shandong writers were banned , and 92 kinds of works of 51 Shandong writers were not worten in . The books and writers of Shandong involved which from Siku quanshu may see , the Shandong region culter occupies the importand status in the Chinese culture . but after The April and Autumn period and The Warring statestime, the Qi and Lu culture was limited by many kinds of reasons especial the economy and politics han not been able to display its original brilliance . At The Ming and Qing Dynasty , the Qi and Lu culture , compare with the prosperous and peimous culture of Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province, has revealed the relative backwardness , therefore , no matter the recorded books or the banned books, the all of Shandong Provice' s books was not the most.Through collecting all of the recorded books , the banned books and the has not received books in Siku quanshu and researching them form many acpects . This article want to explore the Shandong region culture ' s status in Siku quanshu , and analyze the influence from Siku quanshu to Shandong.
