This dissertation attempts to explore the religion view of John Keats by passing some solid examples, thus we can better comprehend John Keats himself with his poems and creations practice, We can enjoy a special magic power from the religious divine in his theoretic and his verse.Chapter 1, makes sure the religious view of John Keats. 1, His religious view greatly under the influence of the custom of Romantic movement. 2,He was born in a family in Christian, and he is familiar with《Holy Bible》very much. he lives the Christian' life, and in fact he is a charity, commiserate, condone man with universal love, and devotes himself to the peace of the world. and looks forward to the salvation of soul in the whole time. 3, From the Greece myth, John keats acquired the philosophy spirit of "Joyful" and "Beauty", knowing the amiability of free will more; from the celtisim, he acquired more fairy characters, and discovered it would be a wonderful world if all the fairy and the the deities of ancient Greece being in the same place and in the same time. In the word, Keats comes into his new and unique religious view: he hopes people's soul should be salvaged, but the God should be selected by himself.Chapter 2, his poem theory wears the light of divine nature now. 1, Keats's "Negative Capability" has captured a state of the subjective creator how to create his works, the writer should capture the chance of harmony between the objectivity and the subject. At this time, the creator should watch the world by his sense and intuition, so his imagination can move about freely and quickly, finely, he can hold the truth and the permanence in a minute. This meditation state gain an identical of external world and inner world, in other word, it is also a kind of religious state.2,His orther theory of "two Chambers" may be came from the image of the Garden of Eden and the Garden of lost. and his principles of beauty and truth maybe came from Greece culture; and the frequent paradoxes revealed in his poetry may embody the conflict of his religious views.The third, Keats'poems reflect more religious colors.1,Keats' creations in his early stages, has three distinguishing features: topic extensive, contents abundant, time and space is continuous. And he traces his own religious road through youthful invocations to" flora "and "pastoral god", god of the sun and "England muse".2, Three of his epic poetries, his religious view was manifested. Although The spirit of polytheism and Christianity conflict seldom, they may unite on the ground of the attitude to the reality some time. Because they all want to transcend the Reality, finish people's soul to be surpassed and promoted. The more experiences of his life and composition accumulated, the more stable spirit appears. 3, Among his late creations, Keats religious view are more mature, the puzzled of his experiences in his life became the motive of his poem, became the focus that the poet keeps on concern: the truth of world, the beauty of art, the consociation of truth and beauty. his religion minds keep a well balance between the pursuit of ultimate problems and live the ordinary life. The pagan religion of mysterious and geezer transforms became the essential elements in his creations and unique bottom color of his imagination. but the belief that should be salvaged after many tribulations override all orther things.
