Aristotle wrote a lot of books during his lifetime and his research covered a widerange, of which Rhetoric is a very important part. His book Rhetoric with its systematicand scientific theories opened the door to the rhetoric. In this book he combined the wit ofancient Greek and his personal life experience. This paper tries to interpret the book fromthe perspective of the generalized rhetoric Theory, focusing on persuasiveness, expresstheory, accepted theory rhetorical strategy in the rhetoric.The first chapter is mainly about the research summarizes, which introduce thecurrent academic study of Aristotle's Rhetoric and significance of this issue. Secondchapter mainly introduced Aristotle and the times he lived in, Rhetoric and its socialbackground.
