The Study On Deviation Of Humor In Cross Talk

Cross talk is a performing art form people love to see and hear very much in our country. It has many spectators, creators and performers in strength. Humor is the life of cross talk. No cross can survive without humor. Whether cross talk can reach a climax depends on their humorous skills. The degree deviation was put forward by Xijie Wang. It has rich achievements. We try to discuss the degree deviation of humor in cross talk by this theory.There are five chapters in the essay. The first chapter gives a general account of the study on cross talk and deviation and introduces the method and the goal that the essay involved. Chapter two, three and four constitute the main body of the essay and show the study on deviation of humor in cross talk from three aspects. Chapter two, "deviation on pragmatic rule" studies the humor effect of cross talk from five items, which are character, voice, vocabulary, semanteme and grammar. Chapter three, "deviation on thought logic" studies the cross talk from concept, judgment and reasoning. Chapter four, "deviation on communication rule" studies the cross talk through the cooperative principle which contains the maxim of quantity, the maxim of quality, the maxim of relation and the maxim of manner. The last chapter touches upon the problems that need further research.
