The Demonstration And Research Of Literature Material And Cultural Relic Regard To West Region's Music And Dance

The literature embodied in this paper includes the music, dance and hundred plays of West Region from Xian Qin Dynasty to Qing Dynasty (included). In order to improve the research of the music and dance culture of West Region, I'm trying my best to investigate and summarize the Chinese written language histories in form of biographies, miscellanies and poetries relevant to West Region music. To meet the demand of ethical vocal music, I try to utilize the image data coming from the remaining murals in grottoes and antiques excavated to carry out the"Triplicate Demonstration"method, using a method involving both material collation and practical investigation. After investigating into the historic literature, author presents the idea about the development of music and dance culture of West Region within certain history background.This paper is part of the"Fifteen"National Key Art and Scientific Research Topic《Uygur music and dance Art Research》. According to Mr. Huang Xiangpeng classification of China Music History in《China Ancient Music History》, and also according to Mr. Zhou Ji classification of West Region music culture's rising, growing, prosperity, fusion and variation in《China Minorities Music History Uygur Music History》, the mandarin literature about West Region music culture can be classified into four time period: Xian Qin Dynasty; Qin and Han Dynasty; from Wei, Jin, Nan, Bei Dynasty to Sui and Tang Dynasty; Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing Dynasty. In each time period, the collected literature materials are separated to music (musical instruments, musical composition and music parts,music theory and music rhythm,musician,music discussion, music book, description of music activities), dance (including Dance music, dance) and Hundred plays. Moreover, music instruments can be further classified into four categories: The tinge the musical instrument, the stringed musical instrument, the membrane calls the musical instrument and the body calls the musical instrument based on their different sounding mechanism. The discussion to history literature follows an order of Chinese written language histories in form of biographies, miscellany and poetry. Simultaneously the author attempted to reorganizes in the literature material the musical instrument to appear the number of times to make the preliminary statistics, tabulated to the appendix.
