Post-modern art is characterized by diversity, unclear, and the constant changes. Some applaud it, because it constantly breaks the order, makes colorful art. Some expressed indignation because it squandering itself. Many critics noted that it was difficult to make a general definition for the post-modern art, and contemporary art. In the other words, the contemporary art refuse to be summarized. Does this mean that the art has been lost in the complex post-modern appearance and the situation of no ideas?To really understand the state of contemporary art, it is necessary to trace its origin. Despite the overturning of the abstract expressionism which represented in the elite culture in the modern art directly lead to the appearing of post-modern art. But the thinking of post-modern was formed in modernism when it was at the peak. This is known as the emergence the ready-made and its usage as an art object. I think the exploration on the ready-made is the ponder at turning point which is aim at the real sense of Art the artists have has thinking about. It can not be denied is the fact that the thinking of Marcel Duchamp has influenced the development of art in the entire 20th century. So, what is the ready-made brought to us in the end?This Thesis starts at the directly application of living material in painting by Synthetic Cubism artist. By analysis several typical artist and their works of different historical periods, I try to study the usage as an art object of Non-traditional painting material and the meaning of ready-made art from some several aspects such as create of art works, aesthetics, explain of art works. Although aimed at understanding the origin of modern art, but at the same time. The research of ready-made opens a window for me to understanding the significance of the art. I am aware of the "anti-art" is not true art. And the "living" existence for "Art life" is not really living. When the art reverts to simplicity, it will never end.
