The Research And Preliminary Study Of The Da-ji Music Of Taoism Shadow Play In Huan County

Huan County, which subordinates to Qingyang City, is located between the eastern part of Gansu Province and the northwestern part of Qingyang Area. There are Hua chi County of Gansu and Ding bian County of Shan xi in its east side, Zhengyuan County of Gansu in its south, Guyuan and Tong xin County of Ningxia Province in its west, and Yan chi County of Ningxia Province in its north. The glorious history and deep culture product Taoism shadow play in Huan County. As the main accompaniment musical instruments of Taoism shadow play in Huan County, da-ji music has more local flavor characteristic.At present, the research of da-ji music of Taoism shadow play in Huan County mainly focus in the record and collection of this music, but lack of the detailed description on the form structure, performance form, performance method and other aspects of different kinds of da-ji music instruments, the management research of da-ji music, and the diagnosis of local entertainers. Through lots of field investigation and studying the related achievement, this paper makes a preliminary investigation and research on the da-ji music of Taoism shadow play in Huan County.The full text can be divided into five chapters. The first chapter mainly focuses in the construction structure. It makes a more comprehensive description on the selecting material, manufacture flow and other aspects of all the using da-ji music instruments. The second chapter, focusing in performance, makes careful observation and detailed record for the performance form and technique of da-ji music. The third chapter, talking about da-ji music, makes a management and classification for all the da-ji music, and does an analyzing and summary research on the disposition principle, utilization rule, mood performance, rhythm characteristic and etc. The fourth chapter mainly talks about entertainers. This one makes a detailed research and culture analyze for the entertainers' studying process and realistic condition. The fifth chapter is the innovation and development. It gives some suggestions for the innovation and development of da-ji music, and some reference for the inheritance and protection of this special local non-matter cultural heritage.
