The Research On The Design Of Special Dart In Modern Well-Fitting Dress

Special dart is one kinds of dart that not only can fit the shape of body's curve, but also can satisfy the sculpt of design. As the research of theory, it is a new concept.In this paper, it concludes the innovative viewpoint and method of design according with the research on the inner character and designing method of the special dart. It wish to do some helpful supplement to the well-fitting dress in nowadays, and hope that this paper can make this discussion father developing and perfect with the advance of the special dart.On the first, processing with the developing of the special dart, it analyzes the factor of the society and culture which influences the special dart. On the base, through the research of modern well-fitting dress, it get the relationship between the special dart and the sculpt, color and fabric of the clothing. It abstracts the methods of design for the special dart using on the modern well-fitting dress, and does some correlative practice. With this research, it gets some conclusion as follows:1. On the point view of the combination of design for sculpt and structure, with the analyze and research on the special dart. It generalized the technique on the using of the special dart as two form: one is cutting the superfluous fabric, namely special dart of division, the other is hiding the superfluous fabric with pleat, namely special dart of pleating.2. The produce and development of the special dart influences mainly by the conflict of social culture and sub-culture. And its development is also influenced by the impact of different thought and the aspiration for personality.3. The relation between the special dart and the element of clothing design, such as sculpt, color, pattern and fabric is close. On the side of sculpt of clothing, as the element of line, cover, and system it is used on the design of modern well-fitting dress. With the division and pleat, special dart can finish the arranging of fashion's color, and embodiment the aesthetic feeling of clothing.4. According with the plane structure, the special dart can divide into unrestricted division, symmetrical division, gradual division and same quantity division. With the method of pleat, it can divides into fixed pleat, active pleat and so on.5. The special dart of division formed with the transfer of common dart. And the special dart of pleat formed with the converge of the fabric, with the converge it can get some space to hide the common dart. Through the practice, it can be proved that going on the premise of not using the common dart, it also can make the clothing fit the body with the special dart.
