Approaches to learning are influenced by predispositions that may be inborn or may be inculcated very early in the child's life. These predispositions may be present at birth and set the stage for how children approach learning situations their learning styles. Approaches to learning is an umbrella term covering a range of attitudes, habits, and learning styles. It include curiosity about new tasks,imagination and invention,attentiveness and persistence,initiative,learning attitude,approach to reflection and interpretation and cognitive approaches to tasks. This study draw up a test of preschool child's approaches to learning—preschool child's approaches to learning test,this test include Problem-solving flexibility task and add-task, add-task is composed of delay of gratification task and experimenter assessment item. This test can assess preschool child's approaches to learning through test individual. This study analyse the difficulty,division,reliability,validity and delay of gratification task,experimenter assessment item. The result show preschool child's approaches to learning test have perfect difficulty,discrimination,reliability and validity. The test is conveniently to use and marking. The study also pursue some children to evaluation preschool child's approaches to learning test's predictable function to the future school achievement. Preschool child's approaches to learning test score,Problem-solving flexibility task and experimenter assessment item are significantly correlated with the School achievement in elementary school , but it have no significantly correlated with social skill and problem behavior. The preschool child's approaches to learning test can predict school achievement's variation on 24.4%. At last , this discourse summarize the study's localization and point out which aspect should be study more thorough.
