| This research is focusing on the expatiation and conformity of the theory about L2 motivations both in China and abroad. Furthermore, a surveying questionnaire on foreign students'academic motivation of learning Chinese in China is designed according to the reality of their Chinese-learning activity. 225 foreign students are tested and dimension of their academic motivitions of learning Chinese are investgated by Analysis of Variance. At the same time the relations between dimension of academic motivition of learning Chinese and students'ages, nationalities, types of learning, beginning ages, study hours in China are investigated too.The rusults of this research are as follows:1. Foreign students'dimension of academic motivation of learning Chinese are divided into culture integrative motivation, learning situation motivation, instrumental motivation, extrinsic motivation, resultative motivation and education motivation.2. Foreign students'dimension of academic motivation of learning Chinese differ from each other according to their different ages, nationalities, types of learning, beginning ages, study hours and study hours in China.3. Significant negative correlationexist in the aspect of extrinsic motivation among those foreign students whose Chinese language grade are different. |
