Migrant worker whose survival situation is attracting the attention of painters is a special group in China at present. At the same time, however, there are some people who argue that it is outdated about peasant's image and it isn't useful to exist. There are opinions about myself expecting to enhance the depth of it in the country.This article recalls the main achievements in peasant's image of the Chinese oil painting beginning with the earliest painter Wang Yuezhi. It inspects the background history, the main characteristics and the painter's styles of the peasant's image in Chinese oil painting during every period. It finds the relations among the factors of creation about the peasant's image. Meanwhile, it shortly recalls the development history of the European peasant's image and outlooks the future of the creation about Chinese peasant's image. Through it, there is a conclusion that the peasant's image does not loose its meaning. If there is artistry in it, the creation about the peasant's image will exist. But it should been seen that there are less peasants because of the more cities and added the self—discipline of the artistry there are less and less creation about the peasant's image.The creation about the peasant's image is not outdated at all, and there is still lot's of space to create it. It is important for our creation to realize it.
