On Wumi's "Studying Abroad And Life"

"Wumi hot" has passed for a long time. Avoiding the repeated work of reversing verdict for Wumi, the text systematically explores the influence of studying abroad on the forming of his knowledge structure and ambition ,which reveals the relationship between studying abroad and his life on the basis of large quantities of historical materials and in the angle of studying abroad. Studying abroad brought Wumi a closed life and an empty ambition, he devoted himself into magazine and education in the hope of realizing his dream, while wasted his life in the trivia, which makes "his land" lie waste. This paper mainly states that studying abroad is the direct reason caused Wumi's tragic life, and makes the first attempt to explore his suicide, which fills the gaps in the previous studies. After stating the complicated process of Wumi's suicide, the text compares his life and death with typical figures, making an attempt to explore the phenomenon of literati's suicide by taking it as a case study.
