Victor Hugo (1802-1885) is the lesder of French RomanticismLiterary campaign. This paper specifically analyses the main five novelsthat laid foundation for Hugo's novel writer's position, and the appearingperson images in those novels such as《Notre Dame de Paris》(in1831),《Les Miserables》(in1862),《Les travailleurs de lamer》(in1866),《L'homme qui rit》(in1869),《Quatre-ringt-Treize》(in1874), at thesame time the paper also analyses the art that moulds person'simages,and furthermore generalizes Hugo's some often used artmethods.The paper firstly goes on specific analysis on the person's imagesthat appear in Hugo's main five novels,at the difference between Hugohumanism idea and that of other writers. In the end, article specificallyanalyses the art for moulding person's images in the main fivenovels, and generalizes Hugo's some often used art methods.
