| As a TV program type, situation comedy has been in America for more than 50 years, and it developed well. With the varying aspects of the theory, the America situation comedy has rich successful experience. Situation comedy melodrama series and film (including telecine) are the three TV program types in the American evening golden time, and its watching rate is often among the best of the successful candidates.But, from the first national situation comedy,《Love My Family》,was born in 1994, the program type has not developed well in China. After more than 10 years of growing, it does not has a set of perfect system of working even now, and the watching rate is not well too.For this circumstance, this article intends to supply a comprehensive and careful analysis to the national situation comedy. Here in after is the structure of the article: the first chapter focuses on the summary of the situation comedy, main points out its phylogeny, basic mode and develping in China. The following two chapters disscuss on the creative situation of the national situation comedy; the second chapter disscusses on its achievement; while the third chapter analyzes its defect and the cause; depends on this two chapters, the last chapter analyzes its developing prospects.
