Currently, the culture has matured to a new era. In this era, culture has different perspectives than the past ones. The writer provides the"Image Era"concept in this paper. This paper will demonstrate this concept in three layers:First, current design process introduces the usage of picture art enrich the customers'feelings. At the same time, the legacy drawing also has been severely impacted by the picture art. It brings the rethinking of the essential ideas behind drawings.Second, using the photograph as the source of painting brings the thinking of Image's value and meaning. In another word, the new view method in the Image era caused the creation of view language.Third, Artist who use photography should know the impaction of using the photography to the current art.The usage of photography has been a truth now. And we should have the right acknowledge of this trend and take this trend in our work.
