In those work ZhangJie's attitude to the female is doubtless advanced , and she specially emphasizes female's independence and self-renewal. In these work, characters make a large of efforts to pursue their ideal love and set up the harmonious relationship of the both sexes. But ,in fact, the effort are all uselessness in the end. Maybe it's the result from the cruel reality, maybe it's the end of the character themselves shortcoming. In conclusion, these character can not find a way to the ideal love and happy family. So ZhangJie called herself as a miserable idealist. From the late 80s to the early 90s, the society was in the process of rebuilding. In this period, the work of ZhangJie said goodbye to the Utopian idealism at her early ages and took on a posture of dishallowing nobility, deconstructing ideal, getting away from love. No Word by ZhangJjie is the most important of contemporary Chinese novels in recent years. This time can be looked as the third stage. The work has received totally different comments compare with her early work. In this work ZhangJie traces the track of the woman's soul variety of three generation. From these works, we can see Zhangjie's emotional experiences starting from great eagerness for ideal love to sad disappointment with such love. In her works where feminine personalities are greatly valued, however, we will discover that Zhangjie has not walked out of the shadow of androcracy as she has male worship complex deep in her mind.
