The Study On Narrator

The study on narrator is the core task of fictional narrative text studying. Although the classical narratology hasn't given more attention upon it, more and more theorists are attaching importance to the study of narrator and an important and effective standpoint was formed in the process of development from classical narratology to post-classical narratology. In the preface of this thesis, the author exhibits the different viewpoints of different theorists which give prominence to the key to studying narrator. In the body parts of the thesis, here we begin with how the narrator is presented, and then trace the form of narrator in the novel texts and its characteristic when developing. At last, we get the conclusion which can help us have a deeper understanding about study on narrator.
