Chinese Modality Adverb"bijing"is one of the emphases and difficulties on teaching Function words as a Foreign Language. We have made same correlative research and found that foreign students could not express themselves well in the process of communication when they are asked to use"bijing".At the present time, the studies of theory about"bijing"have done by some persons but the outcome isn't guidable in the teaching process. No pertinent study has been done about how to teach the word. This paper is based on the fact of teaching and learning. We will research modality adverb"bijing"from all sides of it.This paper makes up of four parts. In the first part, we study about the semantic of"bijing", the relation about"bijing"and"yinwei/danshi"is the concretely object. In the second part we make the analysis from three parts: it can emphasize some contents, when transmission some information it depends on correlative contexts and the subjectivity of"bijing".In the third part, we make the use of results that be made in the former four parts to find available ways and means to teach foreign students. This part is made up of how to write the teaching material and to teach student well in the class.At last we talked about the grammaticalization of word"bijing".Through the study, we hope teachers could master the teaching technique and avoid some mistakes in order to gain the ends of teaching.
