Theodor Wiesengrund Adorno is one of the German renowned esthetician. He always stressed that the philosophy, esthetics and the sociology should be merged into an organic whole. Therefore, his esthetics has profound philosophical meditation and realistic character. As adhere to the principle of non-identity, Adorno's theory of the deconstruction is non-layered and no centre. Taking his "non-identity" thought as a basic point, this article tries to comb his aesthetic theory. From the negative essence of the non- identical art, the artistic presentation and the function of the non- identical art, as well as the appraisal to the non- identical esthetics, this article will unfold his aesthetic speciality.In his Social Theory on criticizing the overall, Adorno is carrying on the esthetics and the artistic meditation. Adorno regards that, because of the destruction of enlightening spirit, the enlightening rationality moved toward the tool rationality. The culture industry wreaked havoc, getting more serious. All these led to the degradation of the arts. The art has already degenerated to the identical ideology. Then promulgates the essence of cultural industry: identical imprisonment. Adorno regards that, only has art as one kind of non-uniformity and non-identical existence that can save the art. Thus he advocated: non-identical art.This article argues that, Adorno's criticism about art of modern society is enlightening, manifesting the anxiety and concern for human nature and personality. His thought is farsighted in many aspects. Adorno's non-identical artistic esthetics thought has own limitation, even has the trend to the identity, but Adorno's non-identical artistic theory expresses his disaffection to the modern industry civilization and his desire to save mankind. Adorno's thinking and methods of literary aesthetics will be the important reference for our current aesthetic research and culture research.
