Research On Design Thinking And Modern Application Of Ancient Carriage In The Early Qin Dynasty

China has almost five thousand years of strong cultural history, and in this great country outstanding idea cultures,artistic craftsmanship and instrument emerge in an endless stream. Abundant ideas and skills of"zhiqizaowu"which appeared in the pre-Qin era two thousand years ago have all-important meaning of guidance for modern design, most especially for the localization development of modem automobile design they also have great reference value.Research object in this paper is ancient carriage of The Early Qing Dynasty time. In terms of"zhiqizaowu",the author in-depth explored the design ideas and consciousness of pre-Qin zhiqizaowu. Ancient carriage in the pre-Qin era contain luxuriant design characteristic and Chinese culture gene, so it's the typical targets in researching the traditional thought of zhiqizaowu. After analyzing the social cultural,political and economic background for the emergence and development of ancient carriage in the pre-Qin era, the author also studied the ancient carriage's origin and its development history, made a typical case study on single pole carriage,further more summarized the design characteristic in ancient carriage of pre-Qin era, at last tried to make it useful for modern automobile design.
