| Poetic gusto is the flavor of poetry which is immersed in literati painting.And it is the main character in literati painting.With the development of times,the poetic gusto show itself in new aesthetic and cultural value.Based on Feng ZiKai's literati cartoon,this paper represents its poetic gusto under the background of the combination of China and West,analyses the new fulfillment chosen by the Chinese literati painting in the times of cultural combination and how to combine traditional Chinese culture through utilizing the cultural innovational logic of external art to carry out the creationary art activities of "Chinese characteristics".This paper focuses on the unique "poetic gusto" of Feng Zikai's works and researches in two aspects on his inheritance and development of the traditional culture,and his assimilation from the external culture and use for reference,to interpret comprehensively the aesthetic value of Feng ZiKai's literati painting.On the one hand,Feng Zikai inherits the literary quality,light style,combination with the characteristics of other classes of the traditional literati painting,embodies the essence of poetry,so his style is dilute and natural,his composition is simple and fluent,and his line is free and easy.On the other hand,he expands the subject matter,secularizes ink,abandons the traditional literati painting's mystery,and assimilates the traditional Chinese calligraphy and woodcut into modern ink lines,brings English into introduction of the paintings,at the same time absorbs the skills of Western painting's composition to the real life performance. This is the innovation of literati painting's concept which is embodiment of modern factors in the process of transition literati painting.Feng Zikai seized both Western painting's understandability of "effective physique" and Chinese painting's obviousness of "strong impression",found a way out of the literati painting for a new construction in the context of the blend of Chinese and Western cultures.Feng ZiKai's cartoon between "Chinese painting" and "cartoon" suites both refined and popular tastes,which is light and concise.It is deeply enlighten and meaningful for the development of the art of Chinese painting to understand Feng Zikai's literati cartoon,study Feng ZiKai and his times,grasp the aesthetic function of art and aesthetic value of sociology.This dissertation starts from the observations and readings of pieces of cartoon works,with his individual artistic thoughts,analyzes the features and connotations of "poetic gusto" in FengZikai's literati cartoons in the view of the combination of Chinese art with Western and explores their aesthetic meanings and values.The first chapter briefly states the birth of "poetic gusto" in the field of Chinese paintings, combs the developmental line of "poetic gusto" in the view of the history of Chinese literati paintings with poem and painting blended,explores the reasons from the cultural point,explains multi-aesthetic meanings from the perspectives of theories of aesthetic feelings,production and appreciation,analyzes the limited definition of"poetic gusto ",that is,how to get "poem" in the literati painting,and the character "poem" in "poetic gusto" of literati paintings.The second chapter researches on background of the form of "poetic gusto" in FengZikai's literati cartoons from two points,of which the first one is macroscopically the choice of the combination of Chinese art with Western in the ages of artistic development of literati paintings,in which FengZikai brought forward the two characters,"real figures" and "vivid impression" of the painting in the future,and introduced the concept of modern popular art after combining Chinese with Western painting's factors,and the second one is microscopically exploration of the individual background of FengZikai's literati paintings from the perspectives of the form and definition of his cartoons and humanistic educational atmosphere,with the inheriting the tradition and effect of modern conceptions. According with different themes and characters of"poetic gusto" in FengZikai's literati cartoons,the third chapter researched the works of panting on sorts of natural,Buddhist,classical,folkloric poetic-gusto.The fourth chapter focuses on one of the aesthetic styles in "poetic gusto" in FengZikai's literati cartoons,that is, the "lightness".Firstly the author tries to look for and analyze the important influences of traditional culture on the "lightness" of FengZikai's "poetic gusto" in the view of ideological resources,that is,Confucian, Buddhism and Taoism.And then it discusses the style of"lightness" in the cartoons from the perspectives of sober and commiserative attitudes to life and peaceful and simple artistic creation.The fifth chapter discusses the formal representation of "poetic gusto" in FengZikai's literati cartoons from the points of skills of both western painting such as scenography and shadow painting and Chinese traditional painting such as brief drawing,blankness,clumsy drawing and drawing with themes,which can get better representation in both absorbing and developing foreign culture and inheriting and exceeding native culture. And at last,culturally and historically,the conclusion fully explains and analyzes the aesthetic values of "poetic gusto" in the combination of Chinese art with Western in FengZikai's literati cartoons,in the hopes of exploring new styles of Chinese literati cartoons,which puts forward a new view of annotation to FengZikai's cartoons and offers a way to think how Chinese literati painting develops itself in the way of the combination of Chinese art with Western,which can be used for reference. |
