At present, the popularity of television series of Korea (short of HanJu below) has become a worldwide phenomenon. Therefore, relatively, the discussion of HanJu is gradually becoming an international topic, requiring further attention and study. Now, the studies of HanJu in China largely aim at the HanJu broadcasted in China, always remain a general talk about the culture of aesthetic, mechanism of industry and system of communication and the like, however, comparably less, probe microscopically into with single type theme through a way of different perspectives, such as mode of narrate, characteristic of artistic creation and property of mass culture. For this passage, Teen Drama of Korea is the main subject while the teen drama itself and its relative phenomena will attempt to be explored with type of narrative strategies in a context of so called "mass culture".This paper is divided into five parts. In the prelude, it briefly introduce that HanJu has spread to the whole Southeast Asia in recent years, bringing forward a paradox that how traditional narrate mode of "Cinderella and White" attract viewers again and again.The first part is established on a wide range of narrative mode in the teen drama of Korea, which is explained in two respective ways, one is from a diversity of narrative points of view and the other is from flexible narrative strategies, interpreting its charm. The second part is based on characteristic of artistic creation in the teen drama of Korea, four aspects—localization, narration, aestheticism and emotion, contributing to demonstrate its unique artistry and eliciting the causes of being champion in the balance of mass culture and art. The third part sifts to the property of mass culture, setting off several high rating due to the emphasis of the popular plot of art feature, the morality of public expression and the meet to the public entertainment.In the end, it sums up the status quo of teen drama in Korea seriously, meanwhile, makes a subjective analysis of television series in China and suggests reasonable expectations toward the industry of television series.
