BichengLee was an legendary female in modern china. She was a famous female poet, pioneer of Women's rights and female Scholar. She has great change in terms of ideology and advocated female education. She advocated female education and run a female school and promote education reform. Therefore she personally realized economic self-reliance, equal opening of social communication between men and women. Meanwhile, she also traveled around Europe and America. She was a pioneer of independent female sex. She made great contribution to the women's emancipating campaign in modern times.The special experience made her become a Buddhist nun finally in her later life. BichengLee was engaged in researching into Buddhism theory, with care and translating. Buddhist work, promoted theidea-"stop killing animals while protect them", and safeguarded their lives. In a word, she made contribution to the cultural exchange between orient and occident.This paper consists of preface, body and conclusion. The body is divided into two chapters.The first chapter, analyses the cause of women rights forming from the introduction of the West equality of the sexes, Reformers'claim of Women's rights, the practice of female education, the time atmosphere of entrusting female and the special experience of BichengLee herself. And introduces her claim of advocating women's rights and the influence of education reforming, equality of the sexes , female study abroad and literature creation. Then it analyses the influence that she made the movement of Women's rights.The second chapter, analyses the influence to BichengLee that Buddhism confers from the resurgance of Modern times Buddhism theo and the rising of Scholar Buddhism theo. And discusses the reason why she changed her ideology in Earlier and later period from her psychic mechanism and the Buddhism theo. And then introduces her Life-protecting and some related activities. The change of her thought has also brought changes in her writings'theme and style. At last, it demonstrates her Life-protecting stood on the dignity for herself and our nation and promoted the exchange of the culture between West and Chinese.In the conclusion part points out the illuminating remarks of women's right movement to us, as well as its historical value and contemporary meaning.
