On The Suicide Phenomenon Of College Students

With the development of economy, suicide has become a heavy social topic. Suicide, among College students in particular, is much concerned in recent years. Their death is not caused by nature, but a poor understanding of the importance of life and death. The ultimate goal of education is to develop the person, promote the person, and perfect the person, enabling the individual to obtain the comprehensive development. Education must directly face person's lives, pay attention to person's soul, emphasize the significance of pursuing the life and the value of a person'existing. The education has the responsibility to pay attention to the integrity, the humanity, and the individual lives, and educate them, because making them be aware of the importance of lives an unshakable responsibility for education. But in fact, as a result of all sorts of reasons, the life education has been obscured. Life education is positive and valuable. As a vibrant education, Life education is to guide towards a better life. Life Education aims to help students understand the meaning of life, the pursuit of the value of life, to the Meaning of Life, and the glory of life. Life education is to make the students establish an attitude towards life which is positive, progressive correct, and aesthetic. It admits the inevitable suffering and adversity of life, but encourages people to face up to the difficulty. Facing the setbacks and challenges, it encourages people to continuously explore and pursue.This paper is divided into four parts:Part I: To understand suicide. It aims to understand the suicide by the definition and the type of suicide of different disciplines and different groups of people.Part II: It analyzes the special nature of suicide; harm and its impact through the current reality of college students'commit suicide.Part III: It explores the reasons for college students'suicide from the inside and outside and describes the internal and external factors in detail.Part IV: To construct life education. Based on the meaning of the life education, it is to establish the concept and the value to obtain the peace of spirit. In order to prevent college students'suicide and achieve the objective of life and the pursuit of education, we should follow the following 4: Integrating the rich content of school education into the life education; establishing a correct concept of death; creating a multi-together, to build a life of education; strengthening the mental health of students.
