The transference is always regarded as one of important techniques of psycho-analysis. It is important thing to study this subject in theory and clinic of psycho-analysis. Freud first regarded the transference exclusively as a resistance which impedes the recall of repressed memories, the obstacle to treatment which must be destroyed. As he developed the psychoanalytic method, however, he modified his view, coming to see the transference also as a positive factor which helps the treatment to progress. The positive value of transference lies in the fact that it provides a way for the analysand's history to be confronted in the immediacy of the present relationship with the analyst. In the way the analyst and the analysand inevitably repeats earlier relationships with other figures, especially those with the parents. The author of this paper try to read the process of its origin, formation, development and make a complete understanding to this concept .This paper totally includes five Chapters. In Chapter One, the author cleans up the process of psycho-analysis technique to comprehend the background of the present of transference; In Chapter Tow, the author relate the discovery of transference; In Chapter Three , the author reads Freud how to develop the theory of transference; In Chapter Four, the author discuss the position of analyst in the theory of Freud and Lacan; final, author try to make a more comprehensive understanding of this conception.
