Virginia Woolf, the famous English authoress in the end of 20th century, is one of the most important representatives of the stream-of-consciousness novel, and also a feminism critic. Her two writings,"A Room of One's Own"and"Three Geordie Yellow Boys", have established her historical status of outrunner of the western feminism critical theory. The inditing thought presented in the"A Room of One's Own"and"androgyny"have blowed the feminism clarion and also affected the feminine consciousness awaking and rebuilding in the whole world. Chen Ran, the academician of the Chinese authoress associate, She began to publish novels since the 1980s. Chen Ran is one of the representational writers of the Chinese pioneer novel and feminine literature. Most of her publications regard the human existing conditions through the sight of the modern intellectual women. As an authoress who has been grown up in an atmosphere of foreign effects, Chen Ran never deny of her feminism origin. As she said, Woolf is such kind of women that she admire so much, and"A Room of One's Own"is the source of her theory and experiences. Through reading their theoretical publications and inditing texts, it's not difficult to find out that there exist some distinct or dark projections of the feminism theory of Woolf in the feminine viewpoint of Chen Ran. However due to the difference of their living era and life experiences, there exist some differences in the range, depth and discuss view between these two authoress. At the same time, both as an authoress who has a firm stand, they both change the sight into the feminine self-conscious writing.
