| In this paper, based on the predecessor's research results, we learned from the related social science methods, discussed about the gradual characteristic of the Guangdong merchant entering the Guangxi, and revealed its historical root of the Guangxi trade economy which there is no markets if there have not Guangdong merchant.In the predecessor's research about Guangdong merchant of entering Guangxi and its economy activity , They more emphasize some influence the Guangdong merchant to the Guangxi economy and lack the systemic research; they more discuss the general influence of the Gudong merchant to the Guangxi economy, and lack the gradual analyse. In this paper , from the view of social history and economic history, we analysed comprehensively on background of the Guangdong merchant entering Guangxi, inspected the trade activity of the the Guangdong-merchant in Guangxi, discussed the influence and the historical function of the Gudong merchant to the Guangxi commercial trade. This paper was divided into five chapters.In the first chapter of this paper, we reviewed correlation the academic achievement, confessed the article question mentality, the material origin and the chapter arrangement;Then in the second Chapter, We inspected the geographical and the economical reason of the modern massive merchants and induced merchant's several main trade routes; in the third chapter we analysed specifically the trade activity of the Guangdong merchant entering Guangxi from the circulation profession, the management profession and finance profession; in the fourth chapter we discussed the historical root of the Guangxi trade economy which there is no markets if there have no Guangdong merchant, and discussed the historical function of the east Gudong clubhouse and Guangdong merchant's localization in Guangxi;In the fifth chapter we summarized the historical function and the practical significance which the modern Gudong merchant enter Guangxi.
