Seeing from the whole history of the Second World War, the main associated countries all encountered the problem of two-line battling. Therefore, how to avoid two-wire battling is the vital strategy which affects the result of war, and it is beneficial to deeply study the strategy of two-line battling in order to find out the reasons of triumph of antifascist countries in the Second World War.The main associated countries worked their head off from political, diplomatic aspects in order to avoid the appearance of two-line battling. However, different results came out because of different strategies and different feature of battle. Take German for example, on one hand, it took pro-England and France policy to divide the enemies and kill them respectively. On the other hand, German signed a non-aggression treaty with the. In this case, two-line battling was avoided for a while successfully. But later, German was anxious to break the war against the Soviet Union when German-England war hadn't ended and finally it was caught in the trouble of two-line battling. Speaking of Japan, it actually encountered three-line battling for it's deeply caught in the war of invading China at the same time. In order to better this situation, Japan eventually set up the policy of"defending the north, aggressing the south", moreover it adapted the relation with the Soviet Union. but due to the fight of strong Chinese people, it was caught in both the China battles and the Pacific Ocean war after Japan broke the Pacific Ocean war. After the war between the Soviet Union and France, Japan was given a heavy blow when the Soviet Union joined in the war .For another example, the Soviet Union successfully avoided the problem of two-line battling. Before the World War II, It was not invaded by German because of the non-aggression treaty and earned preparation time for the war. After the war between those German and the Soviet Union broke out, it took a series of measures to deal with Japan to avoid the appearance of two-line battling. For instance, through"event of Zhanggefeng"and"event of Nomonhan", it gave a terrible strike to Japan and let the Japanese Army realized the power of them. Meanwhile, the Soviet Union also signed the neutral agreement with Japan. Besides, anti-Japanese war of Chinese people contributed to the success of the Soviet Union in avoiding the two-line battling all the time. In other words, Chinese people enabled the Japanese army not to aggress to the north for lack of energy, thus the Soviet Union could concentrated on the battle against German. America in the war encountered the difficult situation of two-ocean war, but it solved the problem through prioritizing the major and constantly insisting on the strategy of"Europe first, Asia second", therefore, it succeeded in the war of anti-German and anti-Japan.This paper illustrates two-line battling problem which the main associated countries of World War II from the following three aspects: firstly, it introduces the situation of two-line battling of the main associated countries in the Second World War respectively. Secondly, analyzes in details the policies and measures of those countries to avoid two-line battling. Lastly, analyzes the experience and defects of avoiding two-line battling of those countries...
