The 17 years is a prosperous period of the minority ethnic literary. It has emerged a number of minority ethnic writers and works during this period, but also an extensive collection and finishing campaign of folk cultural heritage initiated from top to down.This paper mainly discusses about the complex relationship between minority ethnic literature and the mainstream ideology during this period, as well as the choice made by the writers in this context .In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this text is divided into three parts.The first part discusses about the closer move to the mainstream culture and ideology that made by the minority ethnic literature. It is mainly composed of two aspects: the common theme shared by minority ethnic literature and mainstream literature in the period of 17 years, the efforts in the course of moving closer to the mainstream ideology made by minority ethnic literature, and the deviation from the original intention and the national culture in deep-seated.The second part of this paper discusses about the integration of ethnic minority cultural resources made by the mainstream ideology. This part related to an extensive collection and finishing campaign of folk cultural heritage initiated from top to down. Through the analysis of the specific text"Liu San Jie", it points out that through a series of building movements, ethnic and cultural history is broken, sacrificed and collaged by the mainstream ideology ,then finally able to legally enter the Chinese cultural circle.The third part discusses about the different means implied by different national identity .This part discusses about two works that written by the authors belonging to different ethnic groups. "We Sow Love" reviews backward nation with perspective of advanced nation, and they are the relationship of saying and being said. "In the Vast Grassland" reflects that in the prevailing environment, the literary works of expressing their own ethnic characteristics are judged and misread when entering into the mainstream literary circle, and the author makes his own choice.
