On The Education Thought Of Practical Learning And Its Value Of Lv Zuqian

Lv Zuqian is a famous educator of the Southern Song Dynasty。he﹑Zhu Xi,Zhang Shi and he were called"Three Saints of Southeast". Lv Zuqian was enthusiastic in education while acting, but while not acting he was still responsibility for teaching and educating. He trained a number of talents for court.Not only had a great influence at that time,but also had enormous impact on future generations,who impacted academic direction of the development in the Southern Song Dynasty and the Yuan, Ming, Qing for several hundred years.Lv Zuqian's educational thought of practical learning was an important part in his educational thought. This paper is an attempt to exploring Lv Zuqian's educational thought of practical learning on the basis of showing his thought,expecting having some benefits for current education reform .The paper is divided into six parts:In the first part, the two concepts of"Practical Learning"and"Eastern ZheJiang academics"are comprehensively interpreted, and defined .In the second part,the paper analysises the background of Lv Zuqian's educational thought of practical learning,including his background of society,family,education and academy. With a view to revealing the cause of Lv Zuqian's educational thought of practical learning.The third part, exposes the philosophical foundation of Lv Zuqian's educational thought of practical learning,which includes three major parts.The fourth part, comprehensively describes Lv Zuqian's educational thought of practical learning, from three aspects including educational purposes,educational contents and education methods. Emphasis is on educational contents.The fifth part, introduces the features of Lv Zuqian's educational thought of practical learning, including six parts: attachment of importance to moral education﹑ emphasis on the practical﹑ovrlook portal bias﹑adhereence to traditional family﹑joint development of teaching and scientific research﹑emphasis on practice.The sixth part,from the view of history and realization affirms the value of Lv Zuqian's educational thought of practical learning,shocking the education and academily in Southern Song Dynasty; leading education and acadmily in Yuan, Ming,and Qing Dynasties periods;initiating the modern education;enlightening our current educational reform.
