A Comparative Study On The Music Of Henna Opera And European Verism Opera

Henan Opera and European Verism Opera are two branches of the big system of Drama. Based on the studies of grand scholars, this thesis, through fieldwork, has solved the problems of what has caused the two different types of dramas and of why there are two different types of dramas, To find a fit, so that we can learn the benefits from the two dramas in future ,then they complement each other and made development.The thesis consists of four chapter's altogether. In Chapter One, through cleaning up, analyzing and summing up the historical origins of the two dramas. In Chapter Two to Chapter Four, the two dramas with the body of music are compared. the comparative analysis of the two kinds of drama's artistic constitutions, music characteristic, as well as singing skills. Drama is a comprehensive art, it composed of literature, music, performance, dance, art and other forms of the arts.The Henan opera and the Verism opera are both music plays, but the base of theirs'cultural context, philosophical basis, which they depend on are different, therefore in both art elements respectively has the stress. The Henan opera is"singing, reading, doing, playing"pays equal attention to, has the multi-characters. But in the art elements of Verism opera are pay more attention to music, other artistic elements are at the secondary position, is"the play which wrote with music". The Henan opera is one kinds of the tune bangzi opera department's of Chinese drama, which is the board configuration of organization. It has oneself unique plate frame, with a set of quite complete music program which from this constitutes. But the European Verism opera are completed by using arias, and so on. Because of the esthetic appeal of two kinds of drama are different, so the request of Henan opera and the Verism opera in singing skills, resonance and the sound position are different too. The fourth part from the cultural context, philosophical basis, esthetic orientation carries on etc. comparative analysis the two kinds of drama, first looked two kind of drama by the general characters, then counter-evidence the reasons why they are different from each other through music, culture etc.From the point of view of the vertical and horizontal comparison explain, the methods of study in this thesis are , music body, compare etc.
