Jiangzong is an important poet of Chen dynasty. He forms his own style in some degree, and has a broad influnce in and after his ages. But for posterity's overall assessment is more to criticize, the purpose of this paper is to break the traditional view. This paper studies his poems from three aspects. The first part of the paper is to introduce his life according to the records of historical books, and his thoughts reflected in his works. By analyzing his thoughts: Jiang always thinking address both Confucianism and Taoism, and Buddhism in particular by the "bitter empty" thinking of the impact, with doomsday environment. .Thus, although he has an unshirkable responsibility of Chen dynasty's defeat, but he is not a bad guys. It is wrong that the future generations too much blame him. The second part, the classification of Jiang's poems according to the contents of the poems. We can divide them into five types, which are poems about love in a flowery style, poems about frontier fortress etc. And an effort of analyse the poems could in a sense reveal his poetry characteristics . For example, his poems show peaceful atmosphere and has changed the tendency of Qi and Liang poetry about love in a flowery style .His poems has some impact of the future generations especially the Tang dynasty. The third part, on the basis of the second part, is to reflect the style of his works and analyze why he forms the style. After a deep and systematic study on Jiangzong's poems, the conclusion is, Jiang's creation of his works, both content and artistic style, partly break through the main literary style in the Chen dynasty. And has a far-reaching impact of the succesors. His poetry in China should have its place in history.
