The Sino-Japan Comparative Research On Xu Fu's Legend

Concerned with Xu Fu's east way ferry which happened 2000 years ago, by analyzing the documents about Xu Fu , through the history legends, Xu Fu studying book , history and current situation of his research, Xu Fu's native place ,his route, the history background and social base of his legend,and the practical and current significance, and with knowledge such as geography , climatology , geomorphology and ocean geography, the author makes an intensive study in Xu Fu's east way ferry. Through the methods of document data , investigation and analyzing and comparison, starting with the reference material and current situation , the author discuses Xu Fu native place and his route ,hunts the history background and social base of his legend,and then grasps the historical and current significance, and develops the connotation of the history and culture then carry out the Xu Fu's spirit.Numbers of records which descriped Xu Fu's ferry to the east in three century's B.C.have been written in historical documents of China, Japan and South Korea. Because his travle is sort of superstitious "asking the immortal", although it has been writen in the history,it can not be deeply researched. Till after the 1940s, serious paper and bookmaking were published, but it had not brought to the widespread attention yet. In the early 80s,the discovery of Xu Fu village in Ganyu Jiangsu provice and the excavation of cultural remains site in initial Misheng of Japan , only then a stone aroused thousand overlapping waves, it caused the upsurge of study on Xufu.people started to identify the real appearance of the historical events which has deep sleped for thousands of years.the achievement on excavation enabled these material revealed gradually.If Xu Fu, as a historical proposition, still full of puzzles, then as a cultural proposition, he has already been accepted by Chinese, Japanese , South Korean and even the Northeast Asia people. Nobody but the facts proposes the Xu Fu culture.Xu Fu ,as a unique cultural phenomenon, no matter it is from historical angle or form the realistic situation, it took the positive unreplaceable role in the exchange between China, Japan and South Korea.It is of great social values and practical significance to study Xu Fu's ferry to the east to put forward the project and methods of developing the tourism in view of the current research results and Xu Fu's native place, seting port, the debarkation.it is also great importance in protecting the cultural heritage, in carrying forward the national culture and in promoting the research on history and humanities.
