The Research On Parable In Bi Shumin's Prose

Academic circles has already carried out various researches on Bi Shumin's prose from the literature angle, the rhetoric means, rhetoric technique, rhetoric methods and so on. These researches on discussing Bi Shumin's prose of rhetoric lay more emphasis on analyzing techniques and effects of using parable. From cognitive aspect, with the application of modern cognitive linguistics and cognitive psychology, combining Chinese language physically, based on Bi Shumin's 500 Times Return of the Present Life—Bi Shumin's Emotional Prose Selected, I Am Very Important—Bi Shumin's Philosophical Prose Selected, adopting the methods of documentary induction, individual case analysis and comprehensive analysis, the thesis does some dynamic researches on the parable in Bi Shumin's prose. By analyzing the cognition process, the thesis further shows the cognition regulation of parable constitution and comprehension. And also draw a conclusion that cognition has an important function in the parable construction. It analyzes semantic characteristics and functions of parable in Bi Shumin's prose, and from the angle of parable comprehension, discusses the comprehension restraint of context in her prose as well.The thesis consists of six major parts:The first part is introduction and mainly introduces Bi Shumin and the present study condition of her prose, and main contents, methods and significance of this thesis.The second part analyzes the construction and comprehesion of parable in Bi Shumin's prose from the angle of cognition.The third part fully illustrates the basic semantic element of the parable constitution in Bi Shumin's prose, and its main semantic characteristic from contradiction, faintness, part, diversity etc.The fourth part discusses the rhetoric function, aesthetic function and cognitive function of parable in Bi Shumin's prose.The fifth part introduces the influence of context upon the parable in Bi Shumin's prose from language context, cultural context, background context and subjective context.The sixth part is conclusion.
