Chinese literature since the 1930s'is under development both in a special historical period ( significantly fierce dispute between war and political power) and in a special literature background ( political speech's intervention in literature speech), so political intervention in literature inevitably influences the development of literature at that time. A diversified demands of politics, economy, and literature in China of the 1930s', Anti-Japanese war and the political war between Guomingdang and China's Communist Party in particular, generated an increasingly complex war in the domain of literature. With the change of political situation in the 1930s, political ideas trend and political speech intervene in the literature speech, and furthermore, influence and restrict the fundamental tendency of literature. In view of the unique characteristics of literature speech and the properties of pursuit of independence and freedom and modern aesthetics dated back to May 4 Movement, the literature speech right in the times waged a war against political speech. The fight between literature and politics is an indication of intensified succession and interference. With the presentation of increasingly severe disadvantages of literature ideology in the period of Anti-Japanese war, someone proposed a requirement of restoring the characteristics of literature aesthetics itself, for instance, the argument of"literature's irrelevance to Anti-Japanese war"sponsored by Liang Shiqiu. Facing the"unfair"condemn proposed by Left-Wing literature authority speech, Liang Shiqiu put forward that literature should be authentic in its materials, focused on literature itself, irrelevant to politics and Anti-Japanese War, which doesn't mean that literature is irrelevant to Anti-Japanese War. The proposal is an presentation of demand of literature's self-discipline and of the contradiction of the properties of literature's aesthetics and ideological aesthetics. Since then, a voice for development of literature itself, and requirement of literature's aesthetics autonomy gradually gain popularity, instead of being weakened. For instance, in the 1940s', Sheng Congwen, Shi Zhecun, Zhu Guanqian, et.al. again proposed their stance of literacy self-regulating's exclusiveness from politics, demanding that literature present the characteristics of its people and its nation by aesthetics, rather than by propaganda. This demand for speech aesthetics was proposed again after Liang Shiqiu. In spite of its sparking situation, the animadvert on the argument on literature's irrelevance to Anti-Japanese War was not as fierce and concentrated as Liang Shqqiu, which mirrors that majority of writers has gradually calmed down from previous zeal, setting eyes on literature rationally and recollectedly. Hence, when the politically intervening factors such as war gradually become weakened, literature is likely to be surveyed from the perspective of literature itself.Dominated under the literature ideology of war of resistance against Japan, the aesthetic pursuit of literature utterance that more aesthetic autonomy and less political propaganda should be exercised, though outdated during the course of the war, reveals the self-discipline and spirit of independence and freedom of literature itself. Although the aesthetics-centered ontology of literature failed to be enormously influential during 30s and 40s of the 19th century, the demand of literature self-discipline spoke for itself even in a special era context, by giving its own way to the independence and liberation of the nation and the price of it. Stuck in the middle, the aesthetics-centered ontology of literature struggled for the sake of survival. An unexpectedly excessive heteronomy led to certain unbalances in the course of literature development, which, however, is more or less a inevitably flexural way in the advancement of literature.Hence, this dissertation probes into the conflict between literature aesthetics speck and ideology in the rear area, its source and essence, and its status and significance in the history of literature, on the basis of the alternatively advantageous or popular status of argument between political speech morphology and literature ontology morphology.
