Human's need is an essential category in Marxist dialectical materialism. As a foundation stone in Marxist theory, Marx regarded human's need as the fundamental research of social history. Building a well-off society in an all-round way and socialistic harmonic society in our country are based on regarding the defending of the broad people's basic interests and the satisfying of the broad people's increasing material and cultural needs as the departure Point and end-result. The study on human's need is not only the succession and development of Marxist human's need theory, but also the close combination with practice on building a well-off society in an all-round way and socialistic harmonic society. Marx critically inherited the achievement of predecessor, and the formation of Marxist human's need theory had four stages. According to Marxist theory, the need of the master, man of realistic world , take human's need as self-conscious reflection towards to the objective and increasing conditions for peoples living and psychological . Human's needs have the original character and the social character, it's the importance to make the people distinguish the human's needs form need of the animal. Human's needs also present objectivity and self-initiative traits, because it is a contradiction between the needs of the master and the needs of the object and is the motive cause for people to be engaged in practical activities and thus promote the advancement and development of contents and forms of human's needs . Not only human's needs present the characters such as diversity and infinite essence, but also ascend in the development stage from the primitive period to in pursuit of modern life conditions and it was called"rules of ascent".The mutual action among the"man of realistic world","their needs"and"productive activities"propel the society forward, the unity of the development regularity of human society and the human's need realize on the foundation of practice , So human's need is the dynamic cause of social development ,the conflict between the human's need and reality has two levels. One is the conflict between the human's need and nature, the other one is the conflict between the human's need and society. The conflict between the human's need and nature drivers man to practice, thus providing the material base for social development. The conflict between the human's need and society is the conflict between the human's need and reality, which compels man to propel the society forward by maintaining or reforming the economic base, superstructure, and the rest side of society in practice. Therefore, the force of practice ignited by this need is the main force of the joint force in social development and determines the direction of the social development. Practice is the basic way to realize the human's need. Human's need is the human nature, and"rules of the development of human nature"is determined by"rules of ascent". Realized human's need is the essential of the human being's revolution, and also implies the realization of all-round development of human being.
