In the history of Chinese modern literature, Yang Jiang's creation exists with its special style. Her creation spans the new and old ears, and she keeps writing until today. She is not a productive writer because she writes things when having the inspiration from them, including drama, novel and prose, the unique of which has drawn more and more attention. Through out her life, no matter as a human being or as a writer, Yang Jiang does not stand out of and she never tries to be obvious. However, her ordinary while special life should not be ignored. In my viewpoint, the quality reflecting Yang Jiang's life-long creation is her consciousness of "invisibility". She lives in this age with invisible clothes. Such unique choice of life is the deposition of life, the helpless gesture in the age of interaction. Therefore, the philosophy of invisibility infiltrates into her works, and such infiltration enables her creation different from the popularity of her age. For instance, during the anti-Japanese war, she advocated comedy; during the civil war, she analyzed the solitary soul of those ordinary people and writes the tragedy of the fate; in the endless sound of accusation and confession after cultural revolution, she ignited the light of female with calmness in the Gan Xiao Liu Ji; in today's impetuous literaturecircle, she enjoys her own writing, missing the gone time lonely in The Three of Us......She keeps a distance from the peak of current trend while deep-seated in the dust. She conceals her dream and silently seeking the way of dialogue with this age. It is a sound of silence, and I try to taste the complicated emotion in it and then find out its unique value. Using Bakhtin's "space-time structure", "extraposition" and its theory of "dialogue", this thesis seeks the attitude of "invisibility" of Yang Jiang and its deep influence on her literature creation through careful reading Yang's works. Further, the thesis points out the agreement of his interior feeling when writing, the loneliness of the intellectual in the age of changings, as well as the potential significance of the invisible dialogue with social-environment.Chapter One. In the form of literature review, this chapter analyses the deposition of Yang's temperament in the complicated real life, that is, the interactive influence and deep infiltration of the heritage of culture in the south of the lower reaches of the Yangze River, the traditional Chinese culture and the Western literature. Meanwhile, this chapter analyses the writer's interior contradiction and struggle under the life and political pressure in the ridiculous real life. The different cultural potential gave her the positive attitude towards life. The changing era forced her to play down the history in the space and time, choosing the attitude of "invisibility", which also gave her a unique aesthetic style in the works.Chapter Two. Modest invisibility. Yang Jiang chooses a life-long philosophy of existence, that is, modesty is the invisible clothes in the human society. She lives with modest gesture. During the process of understanding such philosophy, the diversity cultural potential constitutes a splendid cultural system, the manifestation of which is "invisible creation system" constituted by the loneliness, the pessimism, the calmness and self-control in the uncommon life as intellectual. With Bakhtin's "space-time structure" and "extraposition" theory, this chapter analyses Yang Jiang's modesty behind her works and her positive living strategy in the following three aspects, that is, the loneliness in the crevice, the unconscious choice and the controlled calmness. And then, it points out the cultural significance of such modest invisibility. In Yang Jiang's heart, "invisible" is the only way of going through the difficulty, and it is the spiritual basis of the realization of cultural seeking.Chapter Three. The dialogue of dream. In an age full of changings, Yang Jiang's life is surrounded by a great deal of agony. However, as an intellectual, she has her own spiritual dream, longing for the mental freedom d and independent gesture both in knowledge and deeds, walking with invisible clothes. However, her dream conflicts with the real life, so she intentionally keeps a distance from the current trend, concealing her dream and silently seeking a dialogue with the age. Such a distance is undoubtedly the philosophical connotation of the ideology of invisibility. Based on this, the chapter interprets the deep philosophical nuclear of Yang Jiang's ideology of "invisibility": the intellectual's building of ideal character.By using Bahktin's theory of "dialogue" and analyzing the writer's spiritual struggle in her life, the self appraise in the dialogue distant from the age, the thesis shows how a intellectual defense her own soul and then consciously connects her intellectual character with her nation in the age of changings.
