The originator of Western Psychohistoriography is recognized Freud, the psychoanalysis created and developed respectively by Freud and his followers is the main rationale for psychological historians. The original psychoanalysis is for individual, its shift to the analysis of historical figures and their life experiences should be retrospective is very natural extension and development.Modern Psychohistoriography has come to study the history of people's psychological phenomenon, mental state employing relevant modern psychological theory and analyzing methods, then understands and interprets the interdisciplinary research on mankind behavior in history, and sublimes as a result of methodological implications of the research methods and ways of thinking, thus provides a new perspective and new ideas to our understanding of human history.Since its being, Psychohistoriography has passed nearly 100 years of history accompanied by the praise and criticism, gradually comes to mature and deeper, and also in China's history fights itself for a place to survive, by the beginning of a simple, specific to the practice. Scholars trying to take a Psychohistoriography study have been increasing, but few have a sustained, in-depth research.
