Deconstruction Of Revolutionary Hero Epic: From Red Flag Pedigree To Red Sorghum

Red Flag Pedigree is the representative of the Seventeen Years' Literature, and Red Sorghum is considered as one of the direct originations of the New Historical Novels. Base on this orientation, this paper aims to analyse the differences and fissure on the form of narration discourse and the content of discourse narrating between the two as said, encircling the proposition "Red Sorghum deconstructs revolutionary hero epics of Red Flag Pedigree".The summarization part of the thesis overviews the present research situation of Red Flag Pedigree and Red Sorghum. The first part teases the concept and venation of the outlaw hero and revolutionary hero in the Chinese modern and contemporary literature context. The second part expounds the fact that Red Flag Pedigree uses the political discourse and "aesthetic" discourse, to figure "perfect" revolutionary hero images, build its Marxism linearizing historical idea, and achieve the purpose of political enlightenment; And Red Sorghum resorts romantics and life consciousness of the personal discourse, sex and violence of the "scan ugly" discourse, deconstructs the linearizing historical idea builded by the Red Classical, and rebels the "degradation of race" induced by political enlightenment. The third part discusses the figure fissure of images,narrative configuration and text form in Red Flag Pedigree, and the special build contained in the rebeldom of Red Sorghum which caters for the nation ideology.In the end, the paper summarizes the differences among the writing contexts of Red Flag Pedigree and Red Sorghum, and the contemporary criticism context, historicizes the contexts and critiques, making the criticism to find neonatal "fissure" in the dimensionality of history.
