Applying Research On Textile Material And Fiber Art Design

Fiber art is an artistic process of recreating fiber materials utilizing various kinds of techniques of expression.Based on probing the relationship between textile materials and fiber art design, the thesis is focused on the research of fiber art's application to modern indoor space. Through analyzing different artistic forms fiber art displays in indoor environment, the author interpreted the fiber art's humane value and meaning reflected in modern indoor space in a natural and stylistic language and expression. Meanwhile the author studied the expression technique and modeling rule of fiber art, and explored fiber art's stylistic structure and expression language on the basis of researching textile materials and fiber art design. Modern fiber art does not have a very long history. However its application to indoor space decoration shows an unprecedent prosperity. In modern society, many new fiber art works are continuously created by using various textile materials. Artists create new artistic style expressed in a peculiar way which broadens the connotation of fiber art, and study the artistic form and language coexisting harmoniously in indoor environment. It has great influence on textile design and fiber art.With different cultural background of different countries and areas, fiber art inherits, emerges, and develops from the traditional culture to the modern society and displays prosperous cultural interaction of our times. Fiber art is characterized by multiple forms, various artistic styles, integrative fiber materials, etc, which compose the basic feature of modern fiber art and are more and more used in our daily life. Under this circumstance, it is very important to analyze the excellent art works and study the reason and theory of the fiber materials'creation. Therefore, the probe of textile fiber materials provides not only many enlightenments for fiber artists'creation, but also the opportunities to enrich fiber art's visual language and to improve its structure in indoor space. They all offer reference for the design of textile products.
