Study On Shangshu Institution In The Hanization In The Northern Wei Dynasty

Shangshu institution was an important political institution in China history. From Qin-Han to Sui-Tang, Shangshu that was a lower lever official developed into prime minister . In its development process, the Weijin and Nanbei Dynasties were the important period of its development. The political power of Northern Wei was particular in this period, because it was a national minority political power. During this period, development of Shangshu institution had different characteristics with other period.The Northern Wei was the period of the big the big race syncretizing. In Northern Wei Dynasty, Hanization was the important clue of its development. In Hanization progress, it was inevitable that there were all kinds of conflict. Shangshu institution went forward in turns and twists.This thesis studies the development of Shangshu institution in the Hanization of the Northern Wei, explaining characteristics of Shangshu institution of the Northern Wei. The first and second chapter discuss the development of Shangshu institution in Northern Wei ex-period. During Dao Wu emperor period, Shangshu institution established. During this period, political power of Tuoba just into the China feudalistic society. A lot of systems of primitives tribe were still survived. And, the influence of the noble was very strong and big. Under this kind of influence, Shangshu institution was abrogated in Ming Yuan emperor. At the initial stage of Tai Wu emperor, the Shangshu institution recovered. In this period, the power of Shangshu-sheng was controled by the noble.The third chapter discusses the development of Shangshu institution in period of the reformation of Xiao Wen emperor. The reformation of Xiao Wen emperor pushed Hanization quickly. It played a great role in the big race syncretizing. After this reformation, Shangshu institution was confirmed. It had own characteristics. The rapid propulsive reformation also produced the negative influence. The negative influence caused riot in the evening of Northern Wei.The final chapter discusses development of Shangshu institution in the Northern Qi and Sui. After Northern Wei perished, Shangshu institution continued to develop in the Northern Qi and the Northern Zhou. Shangshu institution of the Northern Qi and Sui was established on the basis of the system of the reformation of Xiao Wen emperor.
