The structures of"V+N"are in accordance with (S)VO which is the basic word order in Modern Chinese, and are normally regarded as predicative components of the verb-object relationship. On the other hand, Chinese lacks of obvious morphological changes, the structures of"V+N"can also be regarded as substantive components when they express attributive-head relationship. Currently, Chinese grammar scholars have obtained a lot of research results of the structures of"V+N". However, most of the study limited their objects to the attributive-head relationship. This article contrasts and compares the structures of"V+N"between verb-object relationship and attributive-head relationship in the synchronous plane, analyzes and studies systematically from several angles such as prosodic combination, comprehension factor, semantic accent, designation and assertion functions. The full text is divided into four chapters. The first chapter starts with the cognitive model of word class, points out that the nouns and verbs are the most basic categories in all languages, and then analyzes the different collocation forms both the expressions of verb-object relationship and attributive-head relationship. The absentation or freedom of collocation forms is restricted by the single-double syllable and the footing theory which right footing for words, left footing for phrases. Chapter II, respectively, studies the comprehension factors impacted from the verbs, nouns and semantic relationship. Chapter III describes, measures and calculates the semantic accent of the structures of"V+N"by praat when they expressing verb-object relationship and attributive-head relationship, through data analysis, focuses on comparison accents of the homograph ambiguity structures. The fourth chapter focuses on designation and assertion functions of the structures of"V+N"and also analyzes the translation of designation and assertion functions of the predicative structures and the substantive structures into each other in specific context.
