Complex And Artistic Creativity

The Complex is an important proposition in psychology and one of the key areas in psychological research. Creativity, a comprehensive ability of human being, refers to the ability to create new ideas, new findings, and new things. It is the necessary psychological quality for completing certain kinds of creative activitiesThe present study adopts the research method which integrates the psychological basic principles and case analysis, systematically analyzes the relationship between complex and artistic creativity. Moreover, it reveals that complex plays a crucial role in art creating, especially in Edward Munch's "The Frieze of life". Thus the thesis gets the following conclusions:1. Complex is one of the main foundations and resources and controls the artists' creative styles.2. Artistic expression is one of the major outlets of complex.The present study attempts to clarify the key position of the artists' innermost feelings in the artistic creation with the purpose of expanding artists' creation inspiration and prompting morel beneficial ways for developing artistic creativity, thereby enhancing the artists' art creation ability and expanding their horizon.
