Beethoven is one of the most famous composers and pianists. He is the successor of Bach, Haydn and Mozart, all of whom had made great contributions to west music. Beethoven is also a musician who had improved the musical development. His life of creation can be roughly divided into three stages: early, mid and late. His early works are based on the classical models, one of which is the 2nd piano concerto in B-flat major, which was performed by Beethoven himself when he arrived in Vienna at the first time.Firstly the creating work of Beethoven's early life is discussed, which was inspired by the development promoted by Haydn and Mozart and his own life. Secondly, the structure of the 3 movements of the 2nd piano concerto in B-flat major is outlined. Thirdly, detailed ontological analysis is carried out, including the musical form, the manifestation of the possible impact from Haydn and Mozart, the similarities to Beethoven's other early works, and the characteristics shared by the works of the classical period. Finally, the performance of this piano concerto is expounded, based on the author's own experience.
