| Recent years,with the popularity of computers and network,the creation of modern illustration has developed greatly.The symbols contained in the regional culture and traditional art forms haven't been used widely,which result in cultural deficiencies in the modern illustrations and the great gap between modern illustration and traditional art forms.In spite of the different cultural character,local conditions,customs and the method of illustartion design,the mining of the regional cultural resources is the same in the context of global intergration.The regional characteristic and symbols of the folk art in the field of modern illustration design have been given high priority.The inheritance and develop of regional culture and traditional art forms have become new lives of modern illustration design,which both attach great strategic meaning to the advocation and pursuit of local modern illustration design.Therefore,this paper which is based on the theory of art symbols,taking the application of the regional art symbols as the starting point,study morden illustration design in Shaanxi Province where has a variety of folk art that have great value.The main topic of this paper lies in the application of the art symbols of Shan xi Province in modern illustration.Though studying and analying cases,this paper summarizes the specific ideas and design techniques which show the regional culture and inherit the traditional art forms in the modern illustration design.Through survey and theoretical research,the paper has abstracted various different kinds of art symbols from folk art in Shaan xi Province,summarized the application method of art symbols,and pointed out the pressing problems lie in application,then summarize the specific thoughts in the application of art symbols.In the end,through real creation case,the usefulness of this method has been proved which will direct the creation of art forms in modern illustration design,enrich the art language and the ideological content of art. |
